Saved places
Save your depots, yards and regular sites in the customer portal, then request help at one of them in a single click.
Updated
Many breakdowns happen at the same places: your depots, customers’ yards, a regular changeover point. Save them once and you never have to type the address again.
Adding a place
Open Saved places and choose Add place:
- Give it a name your team will recognise, such as “Main depot” or “Laverton yard”. Each name is used once per customer.
- Enter the address.
- Choose Find on map to drop the pin at that address, or place the pin yourself for a large site (the gate you want suppliers to use, for example). A pin you place by hand is kept as you put it.
Using a place
- Choose Request help here next to a place to open the request form with that location filled in.
- On the request form, under Where, pick from your saved places or from the last five places your jobs were at.
Why the pin matters
Suppliers are chosen by their distance from the breakdown, and they navigate to the pin. An accurate pin gets the nearest supplier and saves them searching a large site. If the vehicle is not exactly at the saved place, use your phone’s location or type the address instead.
