Joining the supplier network

Fix My Truck coordinates breakdowns for trucks, trailers, buses and machinery of 3 tonnes and above across Australia and New Zealand. We work with independent businesses near where those breakdowns happen: mobile mechanics, tyre services, auto electricians, hydraulics specialists, windscreen fitters, towing and recovery operators and more.

Who can apply

• A registered business with an ABN (Australia) or NZBN (New Zealand).
• You provide at least one service on heavy vehicles or machinery.
• You can attend breakdowns in a defined area. 24/7 suppliers are especially valuable, but businesses that work extended or business hours are welcome too: many jobs happen in the working day.

What the application asks

The supplier application takes a few minutes:

• your name, business name, email and phone;
• your ABN or NZBN;
• the services you provide;
• your service area: the towns, regions and highways you cover, and how far you travel;
• the hours you attend jobs;
• anything else we should know, such as the vehicles and equipment you work on.

What we check

• Your business number. The form checks that an ABN or NZBN is valid; our team then confirms the business behind it.
• Your services and area. We use them to send you only jobs you can do, within reach of your base.
• Your hours, so we don’t call you when you can’t attend.
• How to reach you, including after hours, and where offers and remittances should go.

Our team contacts you to go through the details and answer your questions.

After you are approved

• You are added to our network with your services, base location and service area. Jobs are offered to suppliers by distance from the breakdown and by the services the job needs.
• We can set you up with the supplier portal, where you receive job offers, update jobs, add photos and submit invoices. See Using the supplier portal on your phone.
• Your first offer could come the same day.
